Profi cleaning procedure (so-called „Cold/Warm Start“):

  1. After every dab: Once you've enjoyed your hit, don't let the rest of the extract cool and harden completely.

  3. Final tuning: Dip the other end of the stick lightly into the ISO (isopropyl) and wipe the inside clean.

🧪 ISO + Fat Stix: The inseparable duo for your banger

If they are Fat Stix the muscles of your cleaning, then it is ISO (isopropyl) his brain. Why is this combination so important?

Extracts (Rosin/Resin) are oils that solidify and stick when heated. The dry stick itself will pick up the worst of it, but only alcohol can completely dissolve the resin residue.

Why use the 99% ISO?

  • Maximum cleanliness: It leaves no streaks or water residue.
  • Rapid evaporation: The banger is dry and ready for the next hit in seconds.
  • Protection of quartz material: Regular use of ISO with Fat Stix prevents the formation of „chazing“ (milky cloudiness) which irreversibly destroys the banger.

Often frequently asked questions

Fat Stix are designed specifically for dubbing. They have a much denser and stronger cotton head that won't break apart on contact with hot surfaces and can hold up to 3 times more residual oil than drugstore sticks. Plus, they have a firmer handle so they don't bend in the banger.

We recommend waiting a few seconds for the banger to cool slightly (ideally to a temperature where the oil is still liquid, but the cotton won't burn right away). Fat Stix are more durable, but the extreme heat can damage any cotton.

For quick maintenance between hits, just use a dry Fat Stix stick. However, if you want to keep your quartz in 100% condition without scorching (so-called devitrification), we recommend soaking the stick in ISO once in a while and wiping the banger thoroughly.
