A vape cartridge is a small sealed container of liquid that screws onto a battery with a 510 thread. Inside is the atomiser — the heating element that vaporises the contents.
The differences you can actually see:
- Ceramic atomiser — today's standard, and it holds flavour.
- Body material — glass and metal instead of plastic. Plastic leaches a taste and cracks.
- Intake hole size — wider holes handle thicker liquid, narrow ones clog.
Store a cartridge upright, not on its side, or the liquid runs into the thread. If the draw is stiff, hold it in your hand for a moment — warmth gets it moving.
Buy where you know the origin and the paperwork comes with it. With a sealed container that is the only thing you have to go on.
