A low-temp dab is the technique of letting the banger fall to a lower temperature than a normal dab is taken at. The reason is flavour.
Terpenes — the compounds that give a concentrate its smell and taste — break down before the rest does. Run it flat out and you vaporise everything at once and the flavour burns off with it. At a lower temperature it comes off slowly and you can taste the difference between one piece and another.
What you need for it:
- Carb Cap — without one, half of it just melts at low temperature and sits on the floor.
- Patience — heat and pull immediately does not work. The pause is part of the method.
- Precision, if you want it — a thermometer or an e-nail gives you the same result every time.
The price of the flavour is residue on the floor. Swab it out warm, or leave it for next time.
