A dabber is the tool you pick concentrate up with and drop into the banger. They are made from stainless steel, titanium, glass or ceramic.
Pick the tip shape by consistency:
- Paddle — for hard, brittle things like shatter. You lift a piece and it does not crumble.
- Needle — for sticky and gooey. Spear it and carry it over.
- Fork / scoop — for dry and crumbly, so it does not fall off on the way.
- Double-ended — paddle one end, needle the other. The sensible first buy.
Glass looks best and adds no taste, but it snaps the moment you lever with it. Steel and titanium survive anything.
