Dab Pen

A dab pen is a portable vaporiser for concentrates. Instead of a rig, a torch and a wait, you get a battery, a chamber and a button.

What to look at:

  • Chamber — ceramic holds flavour, metal heats faster. A replaceable chamber extends the life of the whole pen.
  • Temperature control — a switch with a few settings is the minimum. One fixed setting means your flavour is whatever the maker decided.
  • Battery — capacity in mAh and USB-C charging. Micro-USB in 2026 is a warning sign.
  • 510 thread — the most common standard, and it takes cartridges too.
