Dab Nail

A dab nail is the heated part of a dab rig that the concentrate goes onto. The term gets used alongside "banger" and shops mix the two freely.

When you are choosing, work in this order:

1. Joint — 10, 14 or 18 mm, male or female. This is the one you cannot solve elegantly with an adapter.
2. Material — quartz for flavour, titanium for toughness, ceramic for heat retention.
3. Top — a flat top takes most universal caps, odd shapes want their own.

Brand and looks come after that. A handsome nail with the wrong joint is an ornament.
